She was predeceased by: her children, Vickie Williams and Eugene Wayne Suggs; and her siblings, Deanne Suggs Williams, Thomas and Coot Parsons.
She is survived by: her husband William Suggs, Jr.; her children, William Suggs, III and Patricia Carol Porter; and her siblings, Ida Cash and Jimmy Parsons. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
