With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Lee Helms of Midland City, Alabama, born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 27, 2020 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Helen Ammerman and Eugene Bales; her grandparents, Alfred, Margaret Ammerman and Altoona; her husband David B. Helms, Jr.; her siblings-in-law, Mellanie Bailey (Ken), Lee Helms (Renee), Jody Helms (Julie), Robin Helms (Marlena) and Callie Folds (Kyle); her niece Salena Hayes (Bruce); her pet Bailey; and her brother-in-law Dr. Emory Helms.
