He was predeceased by: his parents, George Shirah of Washington and Belle Ard Shirah; and his wife Annette Harris Shirah. He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Shirah Burchfield (Steve), Lauri Shirah O'Toole (Joseph), Keith Shirah (Trudy) and Kendall Shirah (Jessi); his grandchildren, Nikki Richardson (Bryan), Rob Hughes (Sandra), Sean Shirah (Hannah), Christopher Shirah (Jessica), Sara Beth McMahan and Austin McMahan; his great grandchildren, Brittany Richardson, Savannah Richardson, Jeremy Hughes, Robert Hughes, Emma Shirah, Jackson Shirah, Noah Shirah, Nate Shirah, Stella Shirah, Blaklee Shirah, Olivia Shirah and Anderson Shirah; and his great great grandchildren, Jase Raffield, Jacob Hutto and Cooper Hutto.
