With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Juanita Virginia Hughes of Marbury, Alabama, born in Rockford, Alabama, who passed away on June 9, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lois Gilliland and James E. Gilliland; and her siblings, Elizabeth McGrady, Joseph Gilliland and Roy Gilliland.

She is survived by: her children, Dr. Benita Hughes Cahalane (Richard), Guy Hughes (Peggy) and Ben Hughes, Jr. (Lauren); and her brothers, Donald Gilliland (Marie), Robert Gilliland (Gail) and Jimmy Gilliland (Mildred). She is also survived by Seven Grandchildren, Eleven Great-Grandchildren.
