He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Leighton Goree and Peggy Ann Jernigan Goree. He is survived by: his wife Shannon Goree of Marbury; his daughter Christina Smith (Evan) of Wetumpka; his stepson Christopher Spires of Wetumpka; his grandsons, Logan Porter (Payden) of Verbena and Michael Lasiter of Wetumpka; his siblings, Teresa Sides of Montgomery and William Snow; and his sister-in-law Kristi Snow of Wetumpka. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
