He is survived by: his wife Jean W. Chase; his daughter Candice Smith; his grandsons, Cameron Smith and Devon Smith; his sister Lisa Chase; and his siblings-in-law, Brenda Halgan and James H. Williams Jr. (Brandy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
