She was predeceased by: her husband Milton Virgil Bates; and her sister Joyce Miller. She is survived by: her children, Linda Charles Montney (Jim), Diane Bates, Sandra Collier, Barbara Wiss (Steve), Christine Bates and Earl Virgil Bates; her grandchildren, James Charles, Brandi Charles, Daniel Wiss (Elizabeth), David Wiss and Cody Montney; and her great grandchildren, Jolie Charles, Ivey Rose Charles, Olivia Charles, Blake Browser, Jamie Charles, Sky Charles, Leo Hunt and Willow Hunt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
