He is survived by: his wife Brenda Killough Franklin; his sons, Timmy Franklin, Scott Franklin (Kay) and Chuck Franklin (Charlotte); and his grandchildren, Jason Franklin (Alison), Chad Franklin, Chad Gorey (Emily), Cameron Gorey (Cody), Kaitlyn Franklin and Mallory Lloyd (Garrett). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
