He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie L. Pruitt and Helen Defee Pruitt. He is survived by: his wife Mary Fowler of Luverne; his sons, Allen Barrentine (Rebecca) of Luverne and Billy Jefferson Fowler; and his brothers, Donald Ray Defee (Linda) of Brantley, Archie L. Pruitt, Jr. (Jamie) of Ansley and Andy Faulkner (Debra) of Ansley. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
