She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel Harold Kilpatrick, Sr.; her parents, Marquis D'Lafayette Smith and Etta Saucer Smith; her siblings, Woodrow Wilson Smith, Ray Pershing Smith, Mark R. Smith, Etta Jeanette Sanders, George Conrad Smith, James Milton Smith and Albert Layfette Smith; and her daughter-in-law Tammy Thomas Kilpatrick.
She is survived by: her children, Samuel Harold Kilpatrick, Jr. (Vicki), Janice Louise Kilpatrick and Alan Mark Kilpatrick (Katherine) of Birmingham, AL; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Kilpatrick West (Seth), Caroline Kilpatrick and Henry Kilpatrick of Birmingham, AL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
