He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Whittington and Ruthie Whittington; his parents-in-law, Charles and Janette Cauthen; his brothers-in-law, Alvin and Ronald Cauthen; his nephews, Anthony and Michael Cauthen; and his great-nephew Parker Barr.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte J. Whittington; his siblings, Tony Stroud (Julia), Lynn Williams, Sherian Spera (Vincent), Sheila Barr, Wanda Hudson (Dan) and Teresa McGough (James); his nieces and nephews, Shannon Breen (Steve), Jennifer Garrity (Anthony), Adam Barr (Leigh), Erin Barr (Chelsea), David Hudson, Brittney Bragg (Justin), Kayla Clay (Andrew) and Jade Salter (Ben); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, John, Morgan, AJ, Troy, Raegan, Treston, Anna Cate, Zachary, Isabelle, Carter, Nolan, Lakelyn and Emersyn.
