He was predeceased by: his son Scott Ashley Hoffman; his parents, John L. Hoffman and Sarah Stough Hoffman; and his siblings, Joan Hoffman Fleshman, John Ronald Hoffman and Francis Laborn Hoffman.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Moody Hoffman; his children, Steven Michael Hoffman (Donna) and Jody Kaye Vickery (Joseph); his grandchildren, Sarah Jean Hoffman and Joshua Maddox Vickery; and his siblings, Judith Hoffman Best (Paul) and Robert Allan Hoffman. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
