It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elsie Threatt Bailey of Lillian, Alabama, born in Lancaster, South Carolina, who passed away on May 10, 2023, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rochelle Threatt and Reona Courtney Threatt; her husband H. Paul Bailey of Lancaster; and her son-in-law Lee Walters. She is survived by: her children, Ron Bailey (Peggy) of Lillian, Myra Bailey Walters of Lillian and Paula Bailey Jackson (Don) of Auburn; her grandchildren, Evan Bailey, Daron Bailey, Brandon Walters (Jennifer), Cameron Walters (Mandy), Hayley Walters Clift (Chris), Bailey Bounds and Bradford Bounds (Krystal); her sister Luna Threatt McManus; and her sister-in-law Betty Bailey Baker of Lancaster. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or The Shriners Children's Hospital.
