He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ada Hamilton, and Buckner Woodford Hamilton, Sr.; his children, Buckner Woodford Hamilton III (Kate), Sidney Lesesne Hamilton (Stephanie) and Emily Hamilton Shell (Jeb); his siblings, Carolyn LaGroue (Walter), Sam Hamilton and Noralyn Goddard (Michael); and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Hamilton, Wood Hamilton, John Shell, Kit Shell, Elliot Hamilton, Ben Hamilton and Corinne Hamilton.
