He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Benton, Sr. and Iola Griggs Benton; his siblings, Willie Charles Benton, Dorothy Ruth Benton, Arthur Charles Benton and Willie Louis Ferrell; and his nieces and nephews, Mae Aggie Trammell, Kim Diane Benton, Norman Charles Walker and Daniel Benton.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Helen Walker, LeVorn Ferrell, Homer Benton, Jr. of Lanett, AL and George Benton of Lanett, AL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
