He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ruth Tatum and Roy Wise McClendon, Sr.; his wife Carol Finley McClendon; his sons, Trey (Gwen), Jason (Jennie) and Matthew (Susan); his grandchildren, Holli O'Kelley (Sean), John McClendon (Martyna), Catherine McClendon and Elizabeth McClendon; his stepgrandson Julian Yas (Olga); his great grandchildren, Owen and Ellis O'Kelley; his sister Joyce M. Robertson (Robbie); his nieces, Melissa R. Worley (Ben) and Amanda R. Nicholls (Kenny); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lauren Worley, Sarah Ruth Nicholls, Katie Nicholls, Benjamin Worley (Sara) and Pierce Worley; and his close friends, Joyce and Wayne Bryan.
