He is survived by: his wife Helen Ramsey of Washington; his children, Shequita Flournoy, Tamala "Lu" Oguntolu (Ala'Niana), Keisha Carlise (Jabbar) and Rodriquez Ramsey (Marilyn); his grandchild Larodia Ramsey; his godson DJ Morgan; his brothers, James Terry of Washington and Danny (Thejuana) of Washington; his stepbrothers, Gary Jones, Michael Lemon and Melvin Williams; his grandchildren, Dre Huguley, Torie Hardnett, Zamari Harndett, Shequrious Flournoy and Treszmin Marshall; his siblings-in-law, Hattie Ramsey, Mildred Trammell (Willie), Gloria Marshall (Elijah), Cecil Ramsey (Josephine), James Ramsey (Janie), J. T. Ramsey and Frankie Ross (Sara); and his friends, Kerry Meadows and Andrea Miller. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
