It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Griggs of Lanett, Alabama, who passed away on June 5, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Willie C. Booker, George Booker, Jr., Jimmy Booker, Rosa Lee Booker McCants, Linda Lee Booker and Allene Booker.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Feagins (Billy) of Douglasville, GA, Brenda Booker Lowe (Charles) of Douglasville, GA, Tedius Griggs (Lavaria) of Valley, AL and Beverly Burton (Derrick) of Lanett, AL; her siblings, Annie L. Hall (Eddie), Emma S. Houston, Maxine Avery, Martha Strickland, Zachary Booker (Earnestine) and Jerry Booker; her great-nephew Tocca Booker; her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Booker and Geraldine Booker; and her goddaughters, Tammy Griggs and Lisa Porter (Henry). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
