He was predeceased by: his sister Lanell Ogletree. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Lanier Carmichael; his children, Robert Carmichael (Leta), LuAnne Barber (Jerry) and Mark Carmichael (Lara); his grandchildren, Andrew Barber (Brittany), Lindsey Mitchell (Brandon), Bishop Carmichael, Baylee Carmichael and Anna Carmichael; his great grandchildren, Austin Barber, Ava Barber and Kaden Mitchell; and his sister Jeanine Shaw.
