She is survived by: her husband Joe Dan McElvy; her children, Dutch McElvy (Thea), Cissy Bayles (Don) and Joe McElvy (Whitney); and her grandchildren, Jason McElvy (Chelsey), Joseph McElvy (Tracy), DJ, Doug McElvy (Katie), Erin Cotney (Jacob), Davis Bayles and Meg Hudmon (Dustin).

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the West Point United Methodist Church soup kitchen or a charity of your choosing.
