She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Rice and Bertha Jenkins Nies (Ed); and her daughter Amy Smitherman. She is survived by: her children, Dee Dee Bice (Adam) of Jemison, Eugene Hubbard (Kristi) of Clanton, Brandi Saunders (Stuart) of Athens, GA and Crystal Hand of Calera; and her siblings, Jeannine McKay (Larry) of Kingston, TN, Eileen Poehl (Gary) of Iola, TX and Allen Nies (Cindy) of Cumberland, MD.. She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren.
