She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Posey and Juanita Johnson Posey; and her sister Harriet Beam. She is survived by: her former husband Fred Milloit of Jemison; her children, Katie Cochran of Alabaster and Adam Cochran of San Diego, CA; her grandchildren, Dylan McNutt of Huntsville and Taylor Lucas of Gardendale; her sister Carolyn Posey of Louisville, KY; her nephew Andy Garrett of Jemison; and her niece Angel Harris of Columbiana. She is also survived by Four Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM at the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home Chapel (1709 Lay Dam Rd, Clanton, AL 35046). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Elmwood Cemetery (600 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Birmingham, AL 35211).
