We are sad to announce that on June 29, 2024, at the age of 70, Basil Hawkins of Jasper, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Basil may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his sisters, Judy Reid, Mary Bryant, Shirlene Cunningham and Juanita Seybert; his niece Kerry Blankenship; and his parents, Basil Hawkins and Viva Hawkins.
He is survived by: his children, Love, Crystal, Michelle, Joshua Hawkins and Greg Hawkins; and his sisters, Annie Lois Hawkins and Rita Handley.
