She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Scott and Eula Laird Scott; and her husband Charles Benjamin "Ben" Young. She is survived by: her children, Ann Newdome (Tommy), Chuck Young (Debbie) and David Young (Sandy); her grandchildren, Amy Wadsworth (Kevin), Jeff Newdome (Sara), Brad Young (Mandy), Eric Young (Katie), Austin Young (Murray), Scott Young (Melissa), Catie Bell (Cory) and Ben Young (Christopher Digesu); and her great grandchildren, Alyx Hawkins, Andrew Hawkins, Anna Grace Hawkins, Ashton Hawkins, Lynley Newdome, Carith Newdome, Levi Newdome, Charlie Young, Jack Young, Cameron Young, Calvin Young, Eloise Young, Emmaline and Laura Bell.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Euchee Valley Presbyterian Church. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
