He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Alred and Willie Jo Alred; and his brother Jim Alred (Mary). He is survived by: his wife Millie Alred; his children, Larry Alred (Ginny), Brian Alred (Christy) and Michelle Bradley (Danny); and his grandchildren, Scott Bradley, Alex Alred, Jacob Bradley, Cade Alred, Maddie Alred, Daniel Bradley, Anna Kate Alred and Greyson Alred. He is also survived by husband, father, and grandfather.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to College Heights Baptist Church.
