He was predeceased by: his children, Chris Cordell and Kate Cordell; and his parents, J. B. Cordell and Ann Cordell. He is survived by: his wife Wanda J. Cordell; his children, Kevin Cordell (Norma), Greg Cordell (Stacie) and Trina James (Brian); his brother Terry Cordell (Barbra); his grandchildren, Ethan (Casie Cordell), LaKota (Caldwell), Joshua Cordell and Chance Cordell; and his great grandchildren, Chaydon, Ailyn and Zeelan Caldwell.

His service will be a private event to prevent possible spread of Covid-19.
