He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Traylor and Ruthie Traylor; his son Terry Traylor; and his sister Nell Jo Couch. He is survived by: his wife Doris Brown Traylor; his children, Shannon Lawrence and Ricky Traylor (Sheila); his stepdaughter Judy Metcalf (Forest); his daughter-in-law Pat Traylor; and his siblings, Junior Traylor (Judy), Betty Jackson, Peggy Justice (Gary), Carol Dalton and Brenda Goins (Marty). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, several Nieces and nephews.
