He is survived by: his wife Freda Sims of Henagar, AL; his stepdaughter Heather Johnson of Henagar, AL; his siblings, Curtis Sims (Sheila) of Scottsboro, AL, Susan Allen (Don), Peggy Sewell, Dale and Evelyn Bottomlee of Dutton, AL; his stepgrandchildren, Savannah Johnson and Ivey Johnson; his parents, Grady Sims and Gwendolyn Sims; and his siblings, Darrell Sims and Gail Payne. He is also survived by son Several Nieces & Nephews.
