He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis McKenzie and Johnnie Mae Enfinger; and his siblings, Evelyn Brookins, Frances McCardle, Eulalia Miller, James McKenzie, Emmit McKenzie, Don McKenzie, Dennis McKenzie and Barney McKenzie.
He is survived by: his sons, Danny McKenzie (Connie), Randy McKenzie (Christy), Brian McKenzie (Terri), Channing McKenzie (Lori) and Chris McKenzie (Missy); and his sisters, Martha Golden (Jimmy) and Faye Bullard. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
