He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Ezell Payne and Sarah Waller of Texas; and his siblings, Pearl Payne Gustin, Alma Payne Wolaver, Hazel Payne Hill, Oleen Payne Askins, Dorothy Payne Kay, Ray Payne and Cliff Payne Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Faye Hambrick Payne; his daughters, Debbie Payne Lambert, Pamela Payne Underwood and Sonya Renee Payne; his sons-in-law, Tim Lambert and David Underwood; his grandchildren, Jordan Lambert, Shea Lambert, Kaylee Lambert Dunn, Brandy Underwood Vanderpool, Michael Underwood, Daniel Underwood, Austin Lockard and Zachary Lockard; and his great grandchildren, Hayden Nunley, Lylah Lambert, Lily Dunn, Noah Dunn, Ava Dunn, Emma Vanderpool, Avery Vanderpool, Everett Vanderpool, Hudson Underwood, Adaline Underwood and Beckham Underwood. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many friends.
