Sonny Monroe Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonny Monroe of Hazel Green, Alabama, born in Huntsville, Alabama, who passed away on September 21, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James "Jim" Monroe and Joy Monroe; his grandparents, Claude, Ann Monroe, Homer, Renee Hopkins, Newell and Daisy Troglen; his wife Judy; his children, James Claude "Jamie" Monroe, II (Kayla), Jody Bryson Monroe, Jaclyn Carol Monroe, Joy Caitlin Monroe and Jillian Freda "Jill" Monroe; his grandchildren, Adalynn Ray Monroe, Elizabeth James Monroe and James Claude "JC" Monroe, III; his siblings, Cindy Monroe and Donny Monroe (Tamara); and his siblings-in-law, Joni Hall (Edward) and Bryson Hill (Cindy). He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
