She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth William DuCasse; her parents, Warren Buchholtz and Charlotte Buchholtz; her grandson Robert Simpson; and her stepmother Frieda Buchholtz.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Simpson Sr. (Robert), Kevin DuCasse, Kenneth DuCasse Jr. (Sharon) and Donna Lee Ostrzycki (Wayne); her grandchildren, Charlotte Simpson-Parnell (James Bert), Justin DuCasse, Bryan DuCasse (Whitney), Barbara Jean McKenzie (Kenneth), Dustin DuCasse (Christina), Christopher DuCasse, Dallas DuCasse, Kathryn Williams (Matthew), Faith Keating (Calvin), Seth DuCasse and Caleb Simpson (Kristin); her great grandchildren, Allyson, Robert, Grayson, Leona, Ember, Blair, Amelia, Hayden, Blake, Laila, Levi, Sarai and Samantha; and her sister Lois Raplee (Robert).
