He was predeceased by: his former wife Mary Ann Castle Keel; his wife Thelma Schrimsher Keel; his daughter Carol Yvonne Holland; his parents, Orville Keel and Gertrude Clay Keel; and his siblings, Pauline Collie, Ruby Hill, Margie Horton, Leora Horton, J. W. Keel and Clinton Keel.

He is survived by: his children, Donald Wayne Keel, Arleen (David Childers), Wanda Lewis (Mike) and Susie Keel; and his siblings, June Cooper and Billy Ray Keel. He is also survived by loving family members, church family and friends.
