She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Jim Alverson; her parents, Odell Preston and Daisy Preston; her sister Lois Anderson; her children, Vicki Phillips (Dan), Todd Alverson (Brenda), Cindy Norman and Joy Berry; and her grandchildren, Tanya Medley (Jimmy), Meighan Castagneto (Dave), Wesley McNeese (Heather), Kris Harmon (Kaylee), Tabitha Odom (John) and Erica Payne.
