He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Lou Casteel; and his children, Evangeline Evett and Keith Bright. He is survived by: his children, James Mac Casteel (Melissa), Dawn Bennett (Dejon), Belinda Casteel and Janice Hildestad (Randall); his siblings, Myra Austell and James Allen Casteel; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Allen Gill, Tim Posey and Donna Casteel. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
