With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor Hall Akin of Hazel Green, Alabama, who passed away on March 14, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Hall and Virginia Hall; her stepfather O. N. Foster; and her brothers, Rodney and Lee Hall.

She is survived by: her husband Henry "David" Akin, Sr. of Hazel Green, Alabama; and her children, Henry Akin, Jr. (Terisa) of Shreveport, LA, William Akin (Sherrie) of Centennial, CO, Deborah Haraway of Hazel Green, AL and Michelle Akin of Huntsville, AL.. She is also survived by four children, 11 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
