With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Annie Sue Britton Corie of Hazel Green, Alabama, born in Madison, Alabama, who passed away on November 15, 2022 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her father Sam Dewey Britton; her husband Vernon Keith Corie; her grandmother Lou Posey (Billy); her brothers, Jim Britton (Blanche), David Britton (Alvena), Gus Britton (Barbara), Gene Britton and Robert Britton; and her brothers-in-law, James Rutledge and Gary Coble.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Loretta Collins (Bob), Ronnie Corie (Linda) and Danny Corie; her siblings, Rachel Richardson, Vera Murdock (Alf), Sara Coble and Charlie Britton (Vera); and her sisters-in-law, Agnes Britton and Louise Britton. She is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
