He was predeceased by: his brother Robert Spivey; and his niece Margaret Reinold. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis S. Spivey; his children, Kelly Spivey Wells and Mark Spivey (Becky); his grandchildren, Tyler, Hunter, Alex and Alison; his great grandchild Miller; his nephew Robert Spivey; and his stepgrandchildren, Stephen Mitchell (Alena), Sandra Saylor, Nathan and Lance.
