She is survived by: her close friend Parnell Hines; her sons, Nicholas Acklin (Barbara), Frederick Acklin (Crystal), Travis Acklin (Kimberly) and Steven Acklin (Erika); and her siblings, Lena Vance-Brandon, Barbara Miller (Lee), Helen Parker (Charles), JoAnn Belt, Chris Vance (Georgia) and Pastor Ricky L. Sykes. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
