She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Fox and Evelyn Fox; and her brother Donald Fox. She is survived by: her husband Karl Zerbe; her brother Daniel Fox (Grace) of Raleigh; and her children, Phil Zerbe (Diane) of Lombard, Illinois, Mary Buchanan (Don) of Madison, Patti Dicks (Vince) of Fargo and Susan Asare. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 14 great- grandchildren; and four nieces.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to Amedisys Hospice or American Cancer Society.
