He is survived by: his children, Brooke Miller (Justin) and Chase Desgranges; his stepchildren, Tabatha Kisamore, Denise Heil (Don), Patrick Sarnowski and Jason Sarnowski (Laurie); his siblings, Gene Desgranges, Jr., Yvonne Thompson and Karen Matthews; his stepsisters, Linda Cooke and Loribeth Meunier; and his stepparents, Don Shield (Rose) and Margaret Desgranges. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
