He is survived by: his wife Ruth Simmons of Harvest, AL; his sons, Bryan Simmons (Darlene) of Harvest, AL and Brett Simmons (Ann); his sister Betty Papile of Muscle Shoals, AL; his stepson Terry Huggins (Tina) of Huntsville, AL; his grandchildren, Amy Simmons of Huntsville, AL, Anna Simmons, Taylor Simmons, Ashley Padgett, Austin Simmons of Ardmore, TN, Colton Simmons, Jason Karam and Jonathan Padgett; and his great grandchild Aidan Simmons. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
