He is survived by: his children, Michael Cato, Jr. (Stephanie), Heather Smith (Greg) and Sabrina White (Mitch); his grandchildren, Tori Johnson (Damauntey), Ashley Abbott (Matthew), Jordan Smith (Courtney), Jaden Smith (Zane) and Eli Cato; his great grandchildren, Aaliyah Johnson, Anslee Johnson, Aubrey Abbott, Mason Smith and Landen Smith; his sister Karen Rhodes (Doug); and his niece Courtney McCaleb (William).
