He was predeceased by: his siblings, Gertrude Brumblow, Ruby Jean Barnett, Eva Cox and Billy Joe Crane; and his parents, Willie Crane and Maggie Crane (Hyatt).
He is survived by: his siblings, Helen Crane, Jerry Crane, Harold Ray Crane, Nell Parker, Betty Davis and Mary Elizabeth Woods. He is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews.
