He was predeceased by: his father James David Estes; and his grandparents, Exie, Ike Estes, Edward and Merle Nelson.
He is survived by: his mother Patsy Louise Nelson Chandler; his son Nick; his close friend Peggy Hudson of Guntersville; his children, Caleb Estes (Caleigh) of Guntersville, Nikolas Estes (US Army) of Italy and Casie Icks (Ryan) of Owasso; his stepfather Gene Chandler of Guntersville; his grandchildren, Cate Estes, Cole Estes of Guntersville, Gray Icks and Evie Icks of Owasso; his half-siblings, Erin Houck of Colorado and Eric Estes of Illinois; his grandchildren, Ryleigh Dugan, Addison Dugan and Camryn Dugan; and also, Derrick Dugan (Brittany) and Jamie Hudson. He is also survived by children and grandchildren.
