He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Mays Sr. and Dorothy Cooley Mays; and his sister Wanda Mays. He is survived by: his wife Debra Mays; his sons, Zachary Mays (Heather) and Josh Mays; and his siblings, James E. Mays Jr. and Jennifer Baker.
