He was predeceased by: his parents, James McClelland and Ruby McClelland; his brother Jerry McClelland; and his parents-in-law, Elvis and Lucille "Boots" Poe.
He is survived by: his wife Janice McClelland; his children, Amie McClelland and Matt McClelland; and his sister Jan Sutton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Shepherds Cove Hospice of Marshall County, Alabama.
