She was predeceased by: her brothers, Grover Sims, Donald Sims, Lavon Sims, Earnest Sims and Freddie Sims; and her grandson Austin Queen.
She is survived by: her brothers, Donnie Sims and Chris Sims; her husband Mike Maples; her daughters, Heather Henson (Craig) and Tiffany Gary (Lance); her grandchildren, Landon Gary and Addison Gary; and her siblings, Dorothy Dollar and Darrel Sims (Carolyn Sims).
