He was predeceased by: his parents, Claudie Brown and Jessie Brown; his wife Patricia Brown; his son Craig Brown; and his sisters, Nell Barnard and Evaline Franks.

He is survived by: his daughter Kim Moody (Michael); and his grandchildren, Lexie Brown, Kaylee Brown, Tessa Moody and Trista Moody.

In Lieu of Flowers donations may be made to Shepherd's Cove Hospice of Marshall County.
