He is survived by: his wife Marita Josephine "Jody" Gibbs; his sons, Charles Alonzo Gibbs, Jr., Mark Coyce Gibbs, Michael Royce Gibbs, John Ean Gibbs and Russell Anderson Gibbs; his stepdaughters, Deborah Sue Slocum and Lanita Ann Hamilton; his grandchildren, Austin Gibbs, Dakota Grace Gibbs, Steffin Gibbs, Brittany Nicole Gibbs, Marita Bishop, Chris Phallan, Katy Hamilton, Jorge Hamilton, Lloyd Shaw, Kimberly Cotton, Daniel Mangles and Jessie Hamilton; and his great grandchildren, Peyton Bishop, Kai Bishop, Rachell Phallon, Deborah Phallen, Jayden Keifer, Micah Hamilton, Kyla Thompson, Korali Hamilton Thompson, Kayssus Hamilton Thompson, Damian Figueroa, Julien Figueroa, Topanga Figueroa and Phenelope Figueroa.
